Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • One to three months related retail experience or training
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear regularly
  • No visa sponsorship available
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel including overnight
  • Relocation may be required
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service
  • Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise
  • Recommend, select, and help locate merchandise based on guest needs
  • Anticipate and fulfill guest's needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobing experience
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education, sharing with the team
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, payment and exchange policies, and security practices
  • Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales, and total net sales goals
  • Develop skills and assist in leading, motivating, and educating new teammates
  • Assist store manager with coaching and counseling teammates
  • Actively recruit and participate in interviewing with the store manager
  • Develop skills and educate teammates to implement visual displays
  • Manage product categories such as denim, shoe, promotions, and supplies
  • Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Set goals and complete the Management Trainee program assignments
  • Complete store opening and closing procedures accurately
  • Implement company policies and procedures
  • Complete register balance and bank deposits daily
  • Adhere to loss prevention policies and store key controls
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and operational duties in the Store Manager's absence
  • Provide feedback to store manager regarding sales and teammate performance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store
  • Support Store Manager by planning and leading the team
  • Supervise and lead teammates collaboratively
  • Act as Store Manager in their absence
  • Travel and cover other stores within district based on business needs
  • Fulfill mission statement by providing high-level customer service
  • Attend team meetings and participate in special projects
  • Communicate and escalate policy violations and concerns promptly.
