This particular opportunity is for the role of an Unarmed Surveillance Security Officer located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This full-time position offers a set schedule with shifts available from 6 am to 2 pm or 2 pm to 10 pm, providing flexibility for different candidate preferences. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 per hour, with the added benefit of DailyPay availability for GardaWorld employees, allowing access to earned wages before payday.

As an Unarmed Surveillance Security Officer, you will be stationed primarily in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. Your main responsibility will be to monitor a variety of security systems with a sharp eye, detecting any suspicious activities before they escalate. Attention to detail and a high level of concentration are crucial in this role, as you will be responsible for scanning multiple screens, recognizing potential security threats, and taking immediate action when necessary.

Your daily duties will involve documenting all observed events and incidents with detailed and accurate reports. You will respond promptly to incidents or potential threats, conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises, and control access to secure areas by verifying visitor identities. Collaborating with law enforcement agencies during emergencies or critical situations is also a key aspect of your role.

The ideal candidate for this position is authorized to work in the U.S. and can provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record, and have strong report-writing and technological proficiency skills. Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration abilities are essential. Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is an advantage but not mandatory. If state licensing is required, candidates must possess the appropriate credentials.
