This full-time position offers an attractive compensation package beginning at $21.20 per hour, increasing to $21.50 after successful completion of the 90-day orientation period. The Maintenance Worker role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of Emerald Queen Casino’s facilities. This position requires a dedicated individual to perform a variety of maintenance tasks across both casino locations. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of facility equipment, carpentry tasks, and assisting with the setup and installation of event-related equipment. The Maintenance Worker plays a key role in maintaining the appearance and functionality of the casino environment while also delivering superior guest service directly on the gaming floor. This role demands physical stamina and the ability to work across different shifts, including day, swing, graveyard, and holidays, ensuring continuous operational support. Comprehensive training and mastery of necessary licenses, including a Class III B license, are required to comply with regulatory standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- at least one year maintenance experience recommended
- valid Washington State driver’s license with the ability to be insured and bonded
- provide a recent copy of driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last three years
- must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
- ability to lift up to 65 pounds
- mobility to climb stairs routinely
- tolerate a smoke-filled environment
- ability to work all scheduled shifts including day, swing, graveyard, and holidays
- pre-employment drug testing
- obtain Class III B license as required by regulatory bodies
