This esteemed community prides itself on fostering a vibrant lifestyle for seniors, focusing on compassion, engagement, and high-quality services. At Moldaw Residences, employees are more than just staff; they are valued members of an extraordinary company committed to investing in both the future of senior living and their employees' professional growth and well-being.
The role of a Maintenance Associate at Moldaw Residences is a vital position that combines hospitality with skilled maintenance expertise. This full-time role operates from Tuesday through Saturday, between the hours of 11:30 AM and 8:00 PM, offering a competitive pay range of $24 to $26.50 per hour. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of maintenance experience and be comfortable using a diverse range of hand and portable power tools. As part of the team, the Maintenance Associate takes on responsibility for performing both minor and major repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance on the building’s equipment, fixtures, and systems.
Beyond technical skills, this position requires a compassionate and enthusiastic attitude towards senior care and hospitality. The Maintenance Associate will be instrumental in ensuring the facility remains safe, clean, and well-maintained, thus directly contributing to the high quality of life and comfort of all residents. Duties include monitoring work done by outside contractors, managing inventory control, and assisting with apartment renovations such as painting, cleaning, and various repairs. Taking initiative to report any unusual occurrences or damages to the Operations Manager is crucial in maintaining a secure living environment.
This role also involves ground maintenance tasks like picking up trash and sweeping curb and dumpster areas to keep the outdoor spaces tidy. The position is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to support a community dedicated to seniors’ happiness and well-being. Enthusiastic candidates with a passion for hospitality, senior engagement, and maintenance excellence will find a rewarding career at Moldaw Residences where they can truly make a difference.
