Maintenance Technician (Late Shift)

The role available is for a Maintenance Mechanic, offering employment that spans multiple levels – from Maintenance Mechanic I to Maintenance Technician – each with increasing responsibility and complexity. This position is essential for the upkeep and repair of a wide range of equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity. The Maintenance Mechanic will handle specialized repairs on conveyors, motorized equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, heat sealers, tape machines, and other automated warehouse systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive approach to maintenance scheduling, and the capability to operate with minimal supervision. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills to liaise efficiently with co-workers, management, and contractors via phone, email, and maintenance management software such as Limble.

In addition to hands-on maintenance and repair duties, the Maintenance Mechanic will play an active role in space planning and workstation reconfiguration, directly contributing to the optimization of warehouse workflows. The position demands an individual who is safety-conscious, capable of following stringent company safety protocols, and committed to reporting and resolving safety concerns immediately. The role calls for strong organizational and time management skills, enabling the mechanic to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and responding urgently to equipment failures.
