Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 0 to 3+ years of general mechanical maintenance experience depending on job level
- ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push, and pull for lengthy periods
- ability to maneuver in aisles 36 inches wide
- ability to reach, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds
- valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and safe driving record
- agree to wear protective equipment when required
- able to be trained and operate motorized equipment
- ability to hear and interpret verbal communication at specified thresholds
- able to read and understand instructions in English
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 0 to 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience depending on job level
- ability to read electrical schematics and operate diagnostic tools for advanced levels
- knowledge of pneumatics and basic hydraulics
- proficient in using maintenance management software such as Limble
- ability to troubleshoot and repair diverse warehouse equipment
- strong communication skills
- ability to lead and train others in advanced roles
- valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Job Duties
- Perform specialized maintenance and repair of material handling equipment including conveyors, carousels, vertical lift modules, OPEX, AutoStore, EuroSort, waves, forklifts, scissor lifts, electric pallet jacks, stock pickers, heat sealers, tape machines
- monitor periodic maintenance programs to ensure compliance
- space planning and managing workstation reconfigurations
- communicate professionally with staff, management, and contractors using phone, email, and Limble
- support and participate in the company’s quality management system
- work independently and make decisions while keeping leadership informed of equipment downtime
- follow safety rules and report safety concerns
- maintain regular attendance and work outside scheduled shifts when necessary for emergency repairs
