Known for its commitment to excellence, HomeTowne Studios not only focuses on delivering exceptional hospitality services to guests but also aims to be the employer of choice by fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment. The company’s managed hotels underwent renovations in 2018, enhancing both guest comfort and employee workplace conditions. Continual improvements in property quality and employee training highlight HomeTowne Studios' dedication to maintaining superior standards within the extended stay lodging sector.

The role of Maintenance Technician I at HomeTowne Studios offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to build or advance their careers in hotel maintenance within a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the property remains in excellent condition, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of the hotel. This position carries a starting wage range of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, reflective of experience and skills.

In this role, you will perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks within guest rooms and common areas to uphold the safety and appearance of the hotel. Responsibilities include handling maintenance work orders, completing repairs, and conducting upkeep such as painting, caulking, and cleaning floors and carpets. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of the hotel’s exterior, including landscaping, parking lots, and general groundskeeping, ensuring these areas remain clean and inviting. Maintaining safety and security protocols, including key control and lock procedures, is a critical aspect of the job.

The position demands a high level of independence, initiative, and physical effort, as certain tasks may require lifting up to 50 pounds and working in non-climate controlled environments. The Maintenance Technician I is expected to perform self-room inspections and incorporate feedback from hotel management and quality control to continuously improve maintenance standards.

HomeTowne Studios is committed to offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance options, employer-paid life insurance, paid time off, and a 401K plan with employer match. The company also provides significant career growth opportunities, making it an ideal choice for motivated individuals in the hospitality maintenance field.
