Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of repair or maintenance experience
Successful completion of background check
Availability to work rotating days and evenings shifts
Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks
Willingness to learn emergency procedures
Commitment to safety and teamwork

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of previous repair or maintenance experience
Technical licenses such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing are helpful
Ability to use hand and power tools proficiently
Good communication skills to respond to guest requests
Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures
Ability to follow management directives and company policies

Job Duties

Maintain hotel, pool, and surrounding area, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC functions, and other related maintenance activities, using hand tools
Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment
Respond to guest requests for service according to company policy
Keep records of rooms completed
Program phone equipment according to hotel needs
Observe equipment and utility meter readings on a daily basis
Stay accessible to Front Desk and Chief Engineer
Maintain files of Material Safety Data Sheets
Ensure par stocking of regularly used parts and supplies
Learn emergency procedures
