Job Requirements

  • Property maintenance experience required
  • implement and follow OSHA safety programs
  • HVAC certified preferred
  • complete service requests promptly within 24 hours
  • perform plumbing, minor appliance, electrical system, HVAC, pool maintenance, and routine interior and exterior maintenance
  • carry out grounds keeping tasks to ensure excellent curb appeal
  • participate in after-hours on-call, weekend, and holiday work as required
  • exercise control over maintenance expenditures including inventory management
  • provide excellent customer service
  • possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds
  • have a valid driver’s license, proper automobile liability insurance, and dependable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven property maintenance experience
  • working knowledge of HVAC systems
  • familiarity with appliance repair including stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators
  • skills in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • customer service orientation
  • ability to work well in a team environment
  • HVAC certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Complete service requests promptly within 24 hours
  • perform repairs on plumbing, appliances, electrical systems, HVAC, and pool maintenance
  • conduct routine maintenance of apartment interiors and building exteriors
  • carry out grounds keeping tasks such as litter removal and pressure washing
  • implement and follow OSHA safety programs
  • share after-hours on-call work with the maintenance team
  • maintain inventory of parts and control maintenance expenditures
  • provide excellent customer service to residents and collaborate effectively with co-workers and vendors
  • adhere to safety protocols and ensure effective communication
  • lift a minimum of fifty pounds when necessary
