Job Description

Our company is a well-established property management firm specializing in multi-family housing. We pride ourselves on providing residents with safe, clean, and welcoming living environments, supported by a dedicated and experienced team. Our maintenance department plays a crucial role in ensuring that all properties are consistently maintained to high standards, addressing resident needs effectively and responding promptly to any issues. We foster a supportive team environment that encourages collaboration, professional growth, and excellence in customer service. As an Equal Employment Opportunity employer maintaining a drug-free workplace, we value integrity, respect, and the commitment to quality in all aspects of our operations.

We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Maintenance Technician with HVAC certification to join our maintenance team full time. This role primarily supports daily maintenance at one of our multi-family housing properties, requiring hands-on skills in various trades including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep. The position is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with additional on-call and overtime shifts required during emergencies such as snow events. A successful candidate will bring at least six months of maintenance or related field experience, particularly skilled in gas furnaces and straight air systems.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing maintenance and repair work orders promptly and professionally, assisting with apartment turnovers, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping common areas and amenities in excellent condition. The role demands attention to detail, strong time management, and exceptional customer service skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, co-workers, and management staff. Candidates must demonstrate a service-oriented attitude, capable of working collaboratively and maintaining a courteous demeanor at all times. Key job aspects include familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment, physical stamina to handle the workload, and the ability to rotate on-call shifts to respond to emergency calls. We offer competitive benefits such as free medical and dental insurance options and quarterly and annual bonus opportunities, making this a rewarding career opportunity for those dedicated to multi-family property maintenance and tenant satisfaction.
