The Maintenance Technician role at Impact MHC Management, LLC, reports directly to the Area Maintenance Supervisor and is a non-exempt, hourly position. This role does not involve supervising other staff members. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive upkeep and repair services across company-owned properties, ensuring all buildings, structures, and grounds are well-maintained and visually appealing. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, the position requires flexibility to work on-call hours including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays to address emergency maintenance needs within the community.

This position plays a vital role in supporting the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of Impact Communities properties. The technician’s duties span a wide range of maintenance tasks including lawn care, preparing homes for move-ins, repairs of structural and interior components, equipment upkeep, snowplowing when applicable, and responding promptly to service requests. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols are essential as the role requires correction of unsafe conditions and compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety regulations.

Physically demanding, the job necessitates working in various weather conditions and handling manual tasks such as bending, lifting, crawling, and climbing. The technician must possess manual dexterity to operate tools safely and effectively. The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability through regular attendance, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check.
