Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- three plus years industrial maintenance experience preferably in chemical industry
- experience in maintenance and repair of building systems and manufacturing equipment
- ability to read and construct from a P&ID or engineering drawing
- basic electronic, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills
- tube bending skills
- basic computer knowledge
- self starter
- knowledge of electrical repair and maintenance
- knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair
- machine shop experience
- metal fabrication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- valid unrestricted U.S. employment authorization
- no visa sponsorship required now or in future
- able to lift up to 50 pounds
- able to perform work above ground level
- able to perform job duties in all weather conditions
- ability to pass respiratory and physical tests for full face respirator
- ability to hear vocal instructions and alarms
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- over three years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in chemical industry
- ability to read and construct from P&ID or engineering drawings
- basic electronic, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills
- tube bending skills
- basic computer knowledge
- self-starter with ability to manage workload independently
- knowledge of electrical repair and maintenance
- knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair
- machine shop experience
- metal fabrication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- certified electrician preferred
- associate's degree in engineering technology preferred
- PLC and VFD troubleshooting preferred
- instrumentation installation, setup and calibration preferred
Job Duties
- Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance work orders in a safe and efficient manner
- calibrate gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure equipment meets production standards
- perform component rebuilds and calibrations
- provide technical interface and build alignment with contractors
- facilitate installation, modification, and repair of chemical, mechanical, and electrical processing equipment
- repair and troubleshoot auxiliary and facility equipment
- recommend preventive maintenance intervals and spare parts inventory levels
- prepare purchase requisitions for needed parts
- follow process flow and ISO 9001:2015 quality standards in maintenance activities
- document repair status in maintenance management systems
- update work instructions as needed
- maintain a clean and organized work area
- engage in assigned training
- support safety and organization in the maintenance department
- ensure proper disposal of waste materials
- follow all safety procedures including operation of equipment
- participate in company safety programs
- contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- uphold company policies on safety, quality, attendance, and conduct
