Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree or equivalent technical school or work experience
- 8-10 years previous industrial maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions
- Knowledge and adherence to good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
- Understanding of basic maintenance techniques including hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Ability to understand complex written and oral instructions
- Able to manage, diffuse and resolve conflict
- Ability to lead and manage change
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to solve complex problems
Job Qualifications
- Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree or equivalent technical school or work experience

- Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance techniques
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Ability to understand complex instructions
- Conflict resolution and change management skills
Job Duties
- Plan and supervise cost-effective and timely maintenance for production operations
- Direct, coordinate and support maintenance personnel
- Work with contractors, vendors, and engineering on equipment modification and installation
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical equipment problems
- Ensure compliance with company and legislative food safety and quality requirements
- Generate and manage daily downtime reports and coordinate with line owners and operators
- Use computer systems including Microsoft Office, CMMS, Lawson, WHIMs, Oracle Apps for documentation and workflow management
- Drive root cause analysis to reduce machine downtime
- Manage employee work schedules, payroll, and labor utilization
- Lead coaching, training, and performance management for maintenance team
- Ensure department compliance with safety and code regulations including Arc Flash, LO/TO, and OSHA
- Lead reliability initiatives and preventive maintenance programs
- Apply predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis and infrared technology
- Act as a technical resource for manufacturing equipment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with vendors and engineering on equipment improvements
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
