This particular role is for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at the Nestle Pizza division located in Little Chute, Wisconsin. The position is part of the 3rd shift team and offers a starting wage of $35.64 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour shift premium for 3rd shift workers. The work schedule consists of 12-hour shifts on a 2/2/3 rotation with no swing shifts, providing overtime opportunities and quarterly bonus potential. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining high-speed packaging equipment through predictive, preventative, and emergency maintenance activities. This includes performing pre-startup reviews, preventative maintenance, equipment rebuilds, troubleshooting, and repair. Keeping meticulous records of equipment logs and maintenance reports using computerized maintenance systems is a key responsibility, ensuring reliability and minimizing downtime. The mechanic works closely with equipment operators to maintain optimal equipment performance and adheres strictly to plant safety rules, GMP regulations, and good housekeeping practices.
Success in this role requires a combination of mechanical skills and a commitment to teamwork within a fast-paced production environment. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- one-year certificate from college or technical school or one to two years’ related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to speak effectively before groups
- adherence to all plant rules and safety policies including GMP regulations
- willingness to perform other assigned duties
- ability to work collaboratively in a team
Job Qualifications
