The Maintenance Manager also plays an important role in managing apartment make-ready and turnover processes to enable timely leasing and resident move-in. Preventative maintenance programs are executed consistently to preserve the value and appearance of the properties. Additionally, this role is accountable for general upkeep, including snow removal and grounds maintenance, aimed at maintaining the safety and aesthetic appeal of the community. The Maintenance Manager leads cost-effective capital improvement projects, manages vendor relationships, and ensures operations remain efficient and compliant with all regulations. With an on-call rotation requirement, this role demands readiness to respond to emergencies 24/7.
Bozzuto values professionals with significant experience and technical expertise in facilities and residential building maintenance. The ideal Maintenance Manager will have a robust background in the trades, including HVAC certification and knowledge of OSHA and risk management practices. This role requires strong leadership ability to build and guide high-performing teams while maintaining a safety-first mindset and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other technology platforms is expected to support efficient management and communication. The position also demands physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including climbing ladders, carrying moderate weight, and working under varying weather conditions.
Joining Bozzuto means becoming part of a community that values your overall well-being and professional development. The company offers competitive compensation and comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Employees receive paid leave, retirement planning with a company-matched 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and access to employee resource groups that celebrate diversity and inclusion. Bozzuto is an award-winning employer committed to fostering an environment where employees can thrive and grow while delivering outstanding experiences to residents and clients.
