The Maintenance Make Ready-Porter-Groundskeeper role is a vital position within Lynd Management Group’s property management operations. Reporting directly to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, this position requires a versatile team member responsible for various maintenance and upkeep duties to ensure rental units and property grounds are in pristine condition. The role encompasses preparing vacant apartments for new tenants, maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the property grounds, and performing essential repairs and routine maintenance tasks. This full-time employment opportunity offers an attractive $1,500 signing bonus paid in two installments—$750 after two months and $750 after five months of employment—providing additional financial incentive for qualified candidates.

The incumbent’s responsibilities include trash removal, evaluating and shampooing carpets and vinyl flooring, minor repairs to air conditioning, heating units, water heaters, and appliances, as well as interior and light exterior painting. Additional duties involve carpentry work such as repairing baseboards, trim, and door locks, and ensuring all locks are re-keyed for new tenants. The role also requires a proactive approach to maintaining the pool and landscaping areas, conducting pressure washing, and keeping these communal spaces clean and safe. Regular tasks include grounds upkeep, watering flower beds, emptying trash bins, and cleaning common areas like porches, parking lots, and breezeways. Certified Pool Operator certification is a requirement, which empowers the employee to maintain proper chemical levels and inventory for pool maintenance efficiently.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to maintain courteous and professional interactions with residents, co-workers, and supervisors. A friendly attitude and teamwork approach are essential, as well as adherence to safety procedures and company policies. Physical capability to perform tasks involving lifting and carrying objects weighing 25 pounds or more, along with basic skills in plumbing, electrical work, painting, carpentry, and landscaping, are crucial.
