Job Description

This job posting is for a Maintenance position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's logos and food products. It is important to note that this franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald's USA. This means that all employment-related matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, and scheduling are handled solely by the franchisee. McDonald's USA does not have any control over these employment decisions and will not receive a copy of your application nor be involved in the hiring process.

The Maintenance position offers competitive pay starting at $21.25 to $21.50 per hour and comes with a range of valuable benefits designed to support both your personal and professional growth. As a member of the Maintenance team, you will be essential in ensuring that the restaurant environment is kept safe, clean, and well-maintained from the inside out. Your responsibilities will include tasks that support the smooth daily operations of the restaurant by keeping equipment and facilities in excellent condition.

The role of Maintenance Person involves assisting management in achieving and maintaining outstanding cleanliness standards within the restaurant. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms, and restrooms, contributing directly to a welcoming and hygienic customer experience. Additional duties include filtering oil fryers daily to ensure optimal food quality, maintaining the exterior grounds of the restaurant to present a clean and inviting atmosphere, unloading delivery trucks twice a week to keep stock levels adequate, and handling waste management by emptying the trash compactor.

You will also perform essential maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, cleaning HVAC and exhaust units, and removing debris from the roof. This range of duties requires a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Training and tools necessary to succeed in this position will be provided by the restaurant, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in maintenance within a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

This position is ideal for candidates who have a high school diploma and are looking for steady work with growth opportunities. The franchisee supports employee development through tuition assistance programs, covering up to $3000 per year, and partnerships with institutions like Colorado Tech University that offer low out-of-pocket tuition costs. Meal discounts are available at 50% while working, along with exclusive discount programs through McD Perkspot, demonstrating a commitment to employee satisfaction and well-being.

By joining this franchisee-operated restaurant, you will be part of a team that values your contributions and provides a supportive work environment with clear pathways for advancement and personal development. This Maintenance role is a crucial part of the restaurant’s success, helping maintain the quality standards expected by customers and ensuring a safe, efficient operation every day.
