As a Maintenance Associate at Sam's Club, you will be the backbone of the store's appearance, responsible for routine upkeep tasks that contribute to member satisfaction from the moment they arrive until their departure. This encompasses conducting safety sweeps, proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, and adhering to company guidelines for steel standards and forklift spotting protocols. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a safe environment for both members and associates. You will be responsible for cleaning various parts of the facility including floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles, using approved chemicals and equipment. Additionally, you will handle maintenance tasks such as responding promptly to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and managing waste in accordance with the company’s environmental sustainability initiatives.
