Job Description

Sam's Club, a leading membership-only retail warehouse club, is dedicated to providing its members with high-quality products at exceptional values. The company operates a network of warehouse clubs that cater to both individual consumers and businesses, offering a wide variety of merchandise including groceries, electronics, furniture, and more. Sam's Club emphasizes a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment to enhance the member experience, consistently investing in store maintenance and associate development to achieve this goal.

The role of Maintenance Associate at Sam's Club is a vital part of maintaining the high standards that the company upholds. This position involves ensuring that the physical environment of the club is consistently clean, safe, and inviting for both members and associates. Responsibilities include tasks related to the upkeep and cleanliness of the parking lot, floors, restrooms, and other facility areas. It requires a proactive and energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is able to maintain a positive attitude throughout their shift. The Maintenance Associate plays a key part in shaping the overall shopping experience by providing that essential first and last positive impression for members.

This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina and dedication, as associates will be on their feet for the duration of their shifts, adapting quickly to changing work scenarios. Candidates who succeed in this role are those who take pride in their work, have a strong sense of responsibility, and prioritize member satisfaction above all else. The position offers an hourly wage range of $17.00 to $25.00, with potential additional premiums based on schedule, season, or specific work performed, making it a competitive opportunity in the retail maintenance sector.

Beyond the immediate job duties, Sam's Club encourages associate growth and career development through programs like Live Better U, which offers fully paid educational opportunities for full-time and part-time employees. The company also provides a robust benefits package including health, financial, and paid time off benefits intended to support the well-being and work-life balance of their associates. Working at Sam's Club means joining a company that values commitment, teamwork, and a positive work environment, all aimed at delivering outstanding service to their community of members.
