Job Requirements
- At least high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience managing building systems in student housing
- Experience with building automation systems and life safety systems
- Strong multitasking and project management skills
- Ability to comply with OSHA standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and maintenance tasks

Job Duties
- Ensure the property is clean, maintained, and safe for residents, prospects, employees, and visitors at all times, including offices, common areas, stairwells, basements, grounds, exteriors, and more
- Identify and address potential situations that could cause liability to the property or management company
- Assess the physical condition of properties and recommend improvements to enhance curb appeal, with approval from the Manager
- Complete all work orders timely, professionally, and courteously, ensuring thorough clean-up before leaving the unit or finishing each work session
- Maintain an organized and safe maintenance shop and storage areas at all times
- Ensure all exterior lighting is functional and adequate for community safety
- oversee necessary inspections
- Set realistic project deadlines and keep the Manager updated on progress
- Follow all applicable codes, legal requirements, OSHA standards, and compliance statutes
