Job Description

This restaurant is a vibrant dining establishment operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's logos and food products, distinguishing it from McDonald's USA. While the franchisee carries forward the renowned McDonald's legacy of quality food and welcoming service, it functions as a separate business entity responsible for all employment-related decisions, including hiring, scheduling, and employee management. This setup provides a unique working environment that blends the strengths of a globally recognized brand with the flexibility and community focus of a local business owner. The franchisee is committed to fostering a supportive workplace where employees can thrive and pursue long-term career opportunities within the food service industry. The restaurant's culture emphasizes energy, purpose, and teamwork to deliver excellent food and memorable customer experiences. Competitive pay starting at $16 per hour, coupled with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement, marks this establishment as a rewarding place to work for motivated individuals seeking a meaningful career path.

The Maintenance Person role within this dynamic restaurant team is pivotal to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency that customers expect. As a key member of the maintenance team, the Maintenance Person carries responsibility for a broad range of duties designed to keep both the interior and exterior of the restaurant in pristine condition. These duties encompass routine tasks such as filtering oil fryers daily to ensure food quality, maintaining the outdoor grounds for curb appeal, cleaning equipment and various areas including inside and outside windows, stock rooms, and restrooms to meet health and safety standards. Additionally, the role involves unloading deliveries twice a week, managing waste by taking out and emptying the trash compactor, replacing light bulbs to maintain safe and well-lit spaces, and cleaning HVAC and exhaust units along with clearing roof debris to support proper ventilation and safety.

This position is not only about meeting immediate maintenance needs but also about contributing to a positive work environment where efficiency and cleanliness support overall restaurant success. The franchisee provides necessary tools and training, ensuring that Maintenance Persons can succeed and feel confident in their role. Advancement opportunities and continuous educational support through programs like Archways to Opportunity, which offers high school diploma achievement, college tuition assistance, and language classes, enrich the career development prospects for those who join the team. With flexible scheduling and a supportive management structure, the Maintenance Person role is well-suited for individuals looking for meaningful work, stable employment, and a path for growth within a reputable franchise operation. This is a chance to join a team dedicated to excellence in food service and customer satisfaction, where your contributions are visible and valued every day.
