In line with its ongoing expansion, ACPNY is seeking to fill the position of Housekeeper. This role is essential in maintaining clean, safe, and organized facilities that contribute directly to the comfort and well-being of both patients and staff. The Housekeeper will work under the supervision of the housekeeping and maintenance team leader and will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks. These duties include mopping, vacuuming, dusting, shoveling snow, and other related housekeeping functions tailored to meet the facility's standards. The position also involves logistical responsibilities such as transporting deliveries, managing supplies, and aiding in the handling of hazardous waste materials to ensure a safe environment.

The Housekeeper must demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail, ensuring all cleaning and maintenance activities are conducted thoroughly and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina as it involves prolonged standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to work well in a team environment and establish effective working relationships with both internal staff and external contacts is vital. Additionally, the Housekeeper should be ready to assist trained personnel during the cleanup of hazardous or infectious spills, emphasizing a commitment to safety protocols.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.00 and may include occasional evening or weekend shifts to meet operational demands.
