Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting as a Food Runner or Server
- Ability and willingness to work full-time schedule including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry food trays and supplies
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
- 6+ months of prior relevant experience in a high-volume dining restaurant as a Food Runner or Server preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices
- Capability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks efficiently
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome
- Expedite food from the kitchen to the table, following sequence of service as directed by the Chef or kitchen expediter
- Describe dishes and menu features upon delivery, answering any guest questions
- Communicate with the kitchen and management to ensure smooth operations and quality service
- Perform assigned opening and closing side-work
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service station
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items
