Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting as a Food Runner or Server
  • Ability and willingness to work full-time schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry food trays and supplies
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
  • 6+ months of prior relevant experience in a high-volume dining restaurant as a Food Runner or Server preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices
  • Capability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks efficiently

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome
  • Expedite food from the kitchen to the table, following sequence of service as directed by the Chef or kitchen expediter
  • Describe dishes and menu features upon delivery, answering any guest questions
  • Communicate with the kitchen and management to ensure smooth operations and quality service
  • Perform assigned opening and closing side-work
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service station
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of food items
