Magnolia Table, located in Waco, Texas, is a renowned restaurant that proudly offers a unique dining experience characteristic of the Magnolia brand. Magnolia is known for its emphasis on quality, hospitality, and delivering exceptional customer service in a warm, inviting environment. As an establishment, Magnolia Table focuses not only on high-quality food and beverages but also on creating memorable moments for its guests. The team at Magnolia Table upholds a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and an atmosphere that reflects the excellence Magnolia stands for. This role is part of the front-of-house staff and is critical in shaping the overall guest experience through direct interaction and service excellence.
The Waitstaff position at Magnolia Table is a customer-facing role responsible for providing timely and attentive service to guests. The primary responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, guiding them to their tables, presenting menus, and offering detailed information about menu items including portions, ingredients, and food allergies. The Waitstaff team member is expected to suggest seasonal specials and beverages to enhance the guest dining experience. Additionally, this role involves accurately taking orders, communicating any special dietary needs to the kitchen, and ensuring timely delivery of food and accompaniments from the kitchen to the guests. Members of the waitstaff also support restaurant operations by performing side work such as brewing coffee and tea, stocking beverage stations, filling water carafes, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace throughout shifts.
Employees in this position contribute to a safe, hygienic, and well-maintained working environment, which aligns with Magnolia’s commitment to excellence. This role reports to the Assistant Front of House Manager and does not have supervisory responsibilities. Working at Magnolia Table requires a strong focus on teamwork, adaptability, and an excellent attitude toward guest satisfaction. The position demands the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor. Candidates are expected to have proficiency in hospitality best practices and demonstrate a high level of critical thinking and communication skills. While experience with the Toast point-of-sale system is preferred, strong customer service skills and multitasking ability are essential. The Waitstaff plays a vital role in supporting Magnolia Table's mission to deliver a personalized, guest-centric experience through attentiveness and genuine hospitality. The employment may include shift work during nights, weekends, holidays, and special events to meet business needs. Magnolia Table provides an inclusive, equitable workplace that values diversity and offers equal opportunity to all employees. This role is a great opportunity for individuals looking to grow in the hospitality industry while working for a celebrated brand that prides itself on quality and guest satisfaction.
