Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus
- willingness to work flexible hours
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- basic English proficiency
- adherence to health and safety regulations
- ability to work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Great attitude and willingness to receive on the job training
- work related experience in a long term care facility is desired but not required
- basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety standards
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- good communication skills
- reliability and punctuality
- physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks
Job Duties
- Clean resident rooms
- clean common areas including offices, lobby, bathrooms
- maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- follow established cleaning protocols
- report any maintenance issues
- contribute to a positive living atmosphere
- assist with other facility support tasks as needed
