With a proud history of success, the Merrill Family of Senior Living Communities operates multiple communities focused on delivering compassionate care, service excellence, and enriching experiences for residents. This company is known for creating an inspiring atmosphere where residents, families, and team members alike feel valued and supported. Merrill Gardens, as part of this family, ensures that every life is defined by possibilities and every community member enjoys a fulfilling and engaging lifestyle.

The Dishwasher position at Novelle, one of Merrill’s senior living properties, is an essential role within the community’s culinary team. This role is full-time and offers a highly competitive pay package alongside comprehensive benefits, reflecting the company’s commitment to its employees’ welfare and professional growth. Dishwashers are vital to maintaining the smooth operation of the dining services by ensuring that all dishes and kitchen tools are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use. Working closely with cooks and kitchen staff, the Dishwasher assists with meal preparation support, which helps enhance the dining experience for residents.

Full-time employees enjoy a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, paid time off covering holidays and vacation days, and access to free meals during each shift. Merrill Family also provides financial benefits such as a 401(k) plan with company matching and immediate vesting, tuition reimbursement programs designed to assist with career development, and company-paid short- and long-term disability insurance. Additional perks like pet insurance, team member discounts, and an Advance Pay benefit to access wages ahead of payday underline the company's dedication to a supportive work environment. Part-time employees also receive significant benefits including free meals, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, and other supportive programs.

The Dishwasher role requires flexibility in scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, highlighting the company’s focus on delivering seamless service throughout the week. The role involves frequent physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting materials up to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching, with accommodations offered to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all team members. Those interested in this position should hold a valid Food Handler’s Permit and demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and excellent customer service.
