A2Z Builders is a leading plan-design-build general contractor that specializes in high-end residential remodels. Based in Denver, Colorado, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional craftsmanship and innovative design solutions in the residential and commercial construction sectors. A2Z Builders prides itself on fostering a work environment that brooks professional growth, accountability, and collaboration, providing its team members with the autonomy and support needed to excel. With a commitment to high standards, A2Z Builders combines cutting-edge technology with skilled craftsmanship to transform client visions into breathtaking reality. The company operates with a fast-paced yet supportive culture, emphasizing mentorship and continuous improvement to ensure long-term career development. They offer a competitive salary range from $65,000 to $95,000 annually, supplemented by performance-based bonuses. This full-time role requires occasional travel, up to 10% of working hours, supporting regional project assignments. The compensation package includes comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings with employer matching, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

The role of Luxury Kitchen Designer at A2Z Builders is pivotal in steering the growth of the high-end residential department, especially focusing on luxury kitchen design projects. This position is designed for a seasoned professional with at least three years of specialized experience within high-end residential kitchen design. The Luxury Kitchen Designer will act as a critical design leader, responsible for managing complex kitchen design projects from the initial client consultation through to final installation sign-off. The role demands a creative and technical mindset capable of developing full luxury design packages, including spatial layouts, detailed cabinet specifications, material selections, and producing highly accurate 3D renderings.

In addition to hands-on design work, this position involves mentoring junior designers and elevating the technical proficiency across the department. The Luxury Kitchen Designer will coordinate with project managers, estimators, and cabinet vendors to ensure designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also buildable, cost-effective, and aligned with project budgets. Frequent site visits are required to ensure the design intent is maintained throughout construction and to swiftly resolve any unforeseen technical or construction challenges. The role also includes the development of internal design standards and templates aimed at optimizing team performance and creating repeatable, efficient systems for design execution.

Candidates for this position should be proficient in industry-standard design software, such as Chief Architect, 2020 Design, Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, or Revit, and have demonstrated experience working closely with general contractors and design-build teams. While no mandatory licenses are required, preferred qualifications include completion of a trade program or technical certification, NKBA certification, and advanced knowledge of Colorado building codes and permitting related to kitchens. The successful applicant will have a proven portfolio showcasing luxury kitchen projects, complex spatial problem solving, and intricate cabinetry integration.

This opportunity at A2Z Builders offers not only the chance to lead exciting, high-profile residential projects but also to influence the direction and growth of a dynamic and expanding department. The company emphasizes continuous professional development with access to manufacturer training, safety certifications such as OSHA and Fall Protection, and participation in specialized mentor training programs. A2Z Builders values diversity and inclusion and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities across all demographics. If you are a motivated, creative, and technically skilled kitchen designer looking to advance your career in a supportive yet challenging environment, this role offers an excellent pathway to leadership and impact within the high-end residential remodeling industry.
