Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years serving experience in upscale dining
  • knowledge of wine, spirits, and gourmet cuisine
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work part-time, event-based shifts
  • union membership or willingness to join union

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally
  • present menus, describe dishes, and make knowledgeable recommendations including wine pairings and chef specials
  • take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system efficiently
  • coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
  • provide attentive, anticipatory service throughout the meal including course clearing, refills, and special requests
  • handle guest concerns gracefully ensuring satisfaction and swift resolution
  • maintain pristine cleanliness and presentation of tables and service areas
  • follow all health and safety standards including food handling and sanitation guidelines
  • collaborate with teammates and managers to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
