Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must be available for weekdays onsite and travel between Southside, Lawrenceville, and Downtown/Fifth Ave
- physical ability to lift 40 pounds or more
- reliable transportation for multiple location travel and after-hours calls
- ability to follow supervision and instructions
- availability for on-call and weekend work
- prior cleaning or porter experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- must be available to be onsite Monday to Friday and travel between multiple Pittsburgh locations
- able to follow instructions from property manager and maintenance supervisor
- ability to lift at least 40 pounds or more
- preferably 1 year of porter experience
- preferably 1 year of cleaning experience
- able to work on-call and weekends as needed
Job Duties
- maintains trash compactor rooms and all trash rooms in the building
- helps clean and maintain storage and shop areas
- maintains interior amenity spaces and common areas for the building
- performs light maintenance duties such as painting and power washing
- cleans vacant apartment units as needed
- snow removal at all properties when necessary
- handles on-call after-hours maintenance page outs with personal transportation
- maintains landscaping including weed eating and spraying
- cleans trash in and around buildings, parking lots, and garages
- cleans windows, wipes furniture, and removes trash and clutter from common areas
- sweeps and mops floors including under furniture
- wipes walls and cleans elevator floors
- sweeps and mops hallways and stairwells
- keeps scent air batteries and refills up to date
- cleans trash rooms and compactor areas using foaming machine and maintains floors
- maintains upkeep after professional cleaning or trash removal
