The company is currently seeking a luxury housekeeper/porter to join its expanding team available starting late February 2026 or March 1, 2026. This full-time or contract position offers competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and a flexible time-off program. Additionally, new employees will receive a $500 sign-on bonus after their first 60 days of employment, highlighting the company's commitment to attracting and retaining reliable talent.

The luxury housekeeper/porter will be responsible for various maintenance, cleaning, and landscaping tasks across multiple residential properties within the Pittsburgh area. The role requires frequent travel between different locations such as Southside, Lawrenceville, and Downtown/Fifth Ave, making daily mobility essential. This dynamic position is crucial to ensuring the upkeep and curb appeal of all housing properties, which directly affects tenant satisfaction and the overall reputation of the company.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining trash compactor rooms, storage and shop areas, and interior amenity spaces. The housekeeper/porter will keep common areas clean and welcoming, perform light maintenance duties such as painting and power washing, and clean vacant apartments to ensure they are tenant-ready. Seasonal tasks like snow removal are also part of the job responsibilities to protect residents and visitors during winter months.

Landscaping duties will involve weed eating, spraying, and trash cleanup around the buildings, parking lots, and garages to maintain pristine outdoor environments. Inside the buildings, the housekeeper/porter will clean windows, wipe furniture, maintain all hard surfaces, sweep and mop floors, and ensure elevator areas and hallways are clean and free of debris. Maintaining scent air systems and managing trash rooms with professional cleaning equipment also fall under the scope of this role.

Candidates must have the physical ability to lift 40 pounds or more and possess strong attention to detail to follow instructions from property managers and maintenance supervisors effectively. Prior experience in cleaning or porter roles is preferred but not mandatory as the company is willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.

This position requires flexibility, as the successful applicant must be available weekdays on-site with the possibility of on-call duties and weekend work as needed. Personal transportation is required for traveling between sites and responding to after-hours maintenance page-outs.
