Job Requirements

  • Must have certification as Medical Assistant (AAMA or CCMA) or licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse in Wisconsin and Michigan or current WI EMT license
  • Ability to work full-time day shifts Monday through Friday
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Previous clinic experience preferred
  • Ability to perform basic nursing and administrative duties
  • Commitment to maintaining certifications and licensure throughout employment
  • Willingness to adhere to Bellin Health policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistants must have AAMA or CCMA certification maintained throughout employment
  • Licensed Practical Nurses must hold valid licenses in Wisconsin and Michigan
  • Clinical Assistants must possess current Wisconsin EMT license or certification
  • Previous clinic experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide nursing care under direct supervision of provider or registered nurse
  • Record patient care and report changes in patient condition
  • Consult with RN or provider regarding patient care uncertainties
  • Provide basic health instructions and reinforce team teaching
  • Coordinate and process department patient information
  • Perform secretarial tasks and maintain department workflow
  • Function as department receptionist and respond to customer inquiries
