Job Requirements

  • Prior bar management experience
  • Knowledge and practice of federal, state, and local food and liquor laws and regulations
  • Ability to manage approved budgets and operate within guidelines regarding costs, expenses, sales, and profit for food and beverage departments
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain use records, rotation menus, checklists, and recipe cards
  • Capability to prepare recipe cards and present menu items visually
  • Skills to assure proper staffing, supply maintenance, and efficient labor cost management
  • Ability to promote positive employee relations by adhering to human resource policies and procedures
  • Competency in reviewing staff performance and conducting timely payroll submissions
  • Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ensuring a safe work environment following safety and security rules

Job Qualifications

  • Prior bar management experience

Job Duties

  • Train all associates in job duties including food preparation, seasoning, cleaning and sanitation
  • Assist with writing schedules, evaluating associates, and directing personnel
  • Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and associates
  • Write and present disciplinary action as needed
  • Provide associates with necessary tools and equipment
  • Participate in weekly staff, BEO, and food and beverage meetings, as well as monthly inventory
  • Ensure all food and drinks served are high quality, properly prepared, and efficiently expedited to outlets
