This flexible contract position based out of DeSoto, TX offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong premium customer service skills to contribute to a first-class guest experience environment. The Lounge Concierge plays a crucial role in the guest journey by providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere and expert assistance to First Class guests, oneworld elite members, and lounge members.
In this premium, guest-facing role, the Lounge Concierge will be responsible for greeting guests warmly upon arrival, verifying their lounge access credentials, and assisting with travel-related inquiries including re-bookings and seat changes. The concierge also upholds the lounge's impeccable presentation standards to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable environment. Being an expert in Alaska Airlines’ premium products and services, the concierge must be a solution-oriented problem solver who consistently upholds the airline’s high standards for premium service and attention to detail.
This position is not only about customer interaction but also about representing Alaska Airlines’ brand and values through every guest contact. The role demands flexibility, as shifts may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the operating hours of the lounge. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Exceptional communication skills
- Must pass all airport and TSA background checks
- Must be flexible to work early morning, late night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Previous experience in premium customer service
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a premium customer service role such as 4/5-star hotel concierge, premium airline lounge, or fine dining
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Knowledge of premium hospitality services
- Experience working in fast-paced, guest-facing environments
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional and hospitable demeanor
