Job Description

Alaska Airlines is a prominent player in the aviation industry, known for its commitment to exceptional customer service and premium passenger experiences. This reputable airline continues to expand its operations and services, with a robust presence in key locations such as Thornton, Colorado. Alaska Airlines prides itself on creating an inclusive and dynamic work environment that supports career growth and fosters a culture of excellence. Our team works tirelessly to maintain the highest standards in hospitality, premium services, and passenger satisfaction.

In this specific role, we are seeking a Lounge Concierge for our premium Alaska Lounge, situated at the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This position offers a flexible, contract-based opportunity for individuals skilled in providing premium customer service. Located in Thornton, CO, this role is ideal for professionals who value flexibility and thrive in an energetic, customer-focused environment. The Lounge Concierge position is designed to offer an exceptional guest experience to First Class travelers, oneworld elite members, and lounge members, acting as the face of the airline's premium hospitality.

As a Lounge Concierge, you will play a pivotal role in delivering personalized service and support within a luxurious lounge setting. This includes warmly welcoming guests upon their arrival, verifying lounge access credentials accurately, and assisting customers with various travel-related needs such as re-bookings and seat modifications. You will be an expert in Alaska Airlines' premium products and services, equipped to resolve any issues promptly and solution-oriented. The role also demands maintaining the lounge’s pristine presentation, ensuring it reflects the high standards of the airline’s brand. Given the nature of the position, candidates must be able to stand for extended periods and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Flexibility is crucial for this role as it requires full availability to cover a variety of shifts, including early morning departures, evening arrivals, weekends, and holiday periods. The work schedule corresponds with lounge operations, which occur seven days a week. The compensation package is highly competitive, with hourly wages ranging approximately from $22.00 to $30.00, translating to an estimated annual salary of around $54,100. Alaska Airlines complements this competitive pay with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) plans; paid training; profit sharing; and travel privileges across Alaska Airlines and its oneworld alliance partners.

Joining Alaska Airlines in this premium service role means becoming part of a pioneering team dedicated to enhancing the travel experience for our valued customers. If you are passionate about offering first-class hospitality, excel in dynamic environments, and appreciate schedule flexibility, this opportunity in Thornton's expanding team could be your next career milestone.
