This position is for a Lounge Concierge role based at Alaska Airlines' premium Alaska Lounge at the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). It is a flexible contract role offering competitive pay ranging from $22 to $30 per hour, which equates to an approximate annual income of $54,100. The role offers candidates an exciting opportunity to be part of an elite team focusing on premium customer service and hospitality. The Lounge Concierge will be a vital part of the guest experience, providing friendly yet professional interaction to first class guests, oneworld elite members, and other lounge members.
As a Lounge Concierge, individuals will be representing the airline’s commitment to excellence by ensuring all visitors to the lounge experience the highest level of comfort and service. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, verifying access credentials, assisting with travel inquiries such as re-bookings and seat changes, and keeping the lounge environment pristine and welcoming. The Concierge acts as both a knowledgeable resource on premium products and services and a problem solver for any guest concerns that arise.
This role demands a high degree of flexibility in scheduling, requiring the Concierge to be available for morning shifts aligned with early departures, evening shifts for arrivals, as well as weekend and holiday shifts, reflecting the lounge’s daily operating hours. Due to the nature of the airport environment, candidates must also be able to pass robust background and TSA security checks, underscoring the importance of safety and security in this position.
