We are currently seeking a creative and professional Lounge Bartender to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for craft cocktails, house-made mixers, and a solid knowledge of beer, wine, and mixers. The Lounge Bartender will play a vital role in enhancing guest experiences through expert drink preparation and friendly interaction. This position requires a professional demeanor and the ability to engage guests positively, ensuring every visit to our lounge is memorable. Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down the bar, properly handling liquor, fruits, and juices, and maintaining all beverage-related inventories. The Bartender must follow all beverage standards, including the use of standard jiggers for cocktails and strict adherence to credit card policies with no cash tabs allowed. This role also includes performing opening and closing duties following a checklist to maintain the bar's cleanliness and functionality.

Additionally, the successful candidate will stock and replenish ice, beer, soda, and juices, clean floors and trashcans as needed, and ensure that glassware is always available and in excellent condition. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in bartending or mixology
  • knowledge of craft cocktails and beverage preparation
  • ability to handle cashless transactions
  • excellent customer service skills

  • ability to stand for long shifts
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • compliance with all health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Prior bartending experience preferred
  • knowledge of craft cocktails and house-made mixers
  • good knowledge of beer, wine, and mixers
  • strong guest service and communication skills
  • ability to follow beverage standards and credit card handling procedures

  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and cleaning
  • capable of working in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Set up bar
  • break down bar, lock up liquor, and store fruit and juices properly
  • accept drink orders from guests and servers in proper calling order
  • make cocktails in accordance with beverage standards using standard jigger
  • follow all check handling procedures, including all credit card policies and procedures, no cash tabs
  • complete all opening and closing duties as listed on the checklist
  • check and replace glassware where needed
  • stock and replenish ice at all ice stations
  • clean floors in area of responsibility at the end of each shift
  • empty and steam-clean trashcans at the end of each shift or as necessary
  • be responsible for the inventory of the soda and juices and their rotation of stock
  • stock and replenish beer in bottles and kegs when necessary
