This job opportunity is for a Bartender position within Concord Hospitality, offering a pay rate between $11.00 and $12.00 per hour plus tips. The role is crucial in maintaining high beverage service standards and contributing to an overall positive guest experience. The position involves preparing and serving cocktails and drinks in compliance with established beverage standards, managing bar setup and breakdown efficiently, handling beverage inventory responsibly, and ensuring cleanliness and safety within the bar area. The Bartender works closely with guests and servers to deliver prompt, courteous service and follows precise procedures for transaction handling, including credit card policies. The role also includes restocking and inventory management tasks, such as replenishing glassware, ice, beer, and non-alcoholic mixers like soda and juices. Additional duties involve cleaning responsibilities, including steaming and emptying trash cans, to maintain a sanitary and inviting environment.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous bartender experience preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • legal age to serve alcohol
  • basic math skills
  • good customer service skills
  • ability to follow safety and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous bartending or related experience preferred
  • knowledge of drink mixing techniques and beverage standards
  • ability to follow established procedures and policies
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions

Job Duties

  • set up bar
  • break down bar, lock up liquor, and store fruit and juices properly
  • accept drink orders from guests/servers in proper calling order
  • make cocktails in accordance beverage standards using standard jigger
  • follow all check handling procedures, including all credit card policies and procedures
  • complete all opening and closing duties as listed on the checklist
  • check and replace glassware where needed
  • stock and replenish ice at all ice stations
  • clean floors in area of responsibility at the end of each shift
  • empty and steam-clean trashcans at the end of each shift or as necessary
  • be responsible for the inventory of the soda and juices and their rotation of stock
  • stock and replenish beer in bottles and kegs when necessary
