Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our hospitality team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for setting up the bar area each day, requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, and paper products to ensure smooth operation throughout service hours. You will perform closing duties including thorough cleaning of the bar and lounge areas to maintain cleanliness and presentation. An important part of this position involves greeting guests with a courteous and friendly demeanor, engaging them in a manner that enhances their experience in the bar and lounge. Furthermore, the role requires strict adherence to all state, federal, and hotel regulations concerning the serving of alcoholic beverages, including practicing prudent portion control. This ensures both legal compliance and responsible service. To succeed in this role, you must possess at least one year of bartending experience and have flexible availability to work across various shifts including weekends and holidays. The ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English is essential, as well as competency in using computerized cashiering systems. Physical demands include the ability to stand or walk for at least eight hours and lift or carry items weighing up to 30 pounds. Candidates must also hold a valid TABC certification and Food Handler certification, along with a bartending license.
