The role of the Lounge Bartender at Honey Fitz, the hotel's all-day lobby lounge, offers a dynamic and exciting career opportunity for hospitality professionals passionate about the art and craft of mixology. The Lounge Bartender plays a crucial role in creating an inviting and engaging atmosphere where guests and residents can enjoy expertly crafted beverages alongside impeccable, personalized service. Collaborating with acclaimed mixologist Valentino Longo and under an exclusive partnership with ViceVersa Miami, the bartender contributes to a beverage program celebrated as one of the finest in North America. This position goes beyond just preparing drinks; it requires storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and a personable approach to ensure that every guest leaves feeling connected and satisfied.

Candidates for this position will engage in crafting a diverse range of beverages, from morning coffees to evening cocktails, matching the luxury standards synonymous with the Four Seasons brand. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and other beverages, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with technology such as Opera and Micros POS systems is a plus and contributes to seamless service delivery. Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of high-volume bartending experience preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and knowledge of Opera and Micros POS preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs
  • US work authorization

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to recipes
  • Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the server using the hotel's point-of-sales system
  • Check completed orders with guest's original order
  • Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item's origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • Maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beer, ports, Armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions
  • Respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks
  • Process cash and credit card payments
  • properly settle voided checks or complimentary items
