Basic math skills for cash handling and portion control
Manual dexterity to use knife for garnishes, and handle glassware, bottles, ice and stock
Ability to remember and promote menu variety
Ability to operate point of sale system and close checks
Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons

Job Duties

Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on function projections
Maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables daily to ensure product quality
Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks
Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practice prudent portion control
Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create checks for each guest including those served by other beverage servers to maintain accountability
Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are executed properly to balance all moneys
Lock up and store all beverage, food and equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
