- Ability to operate point of sale system and close checks
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons
Job Duties
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on function projections
- Maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and perishables daily to ensure product quality
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks
- Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practice prudent portion control
- Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
- Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create checks for each guest including those served by other beverage servers to maintain accountability
- Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are executed properly to balance all moneys
- Lock up and store all beverage, food and equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
