Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 18 years of age
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
  • adherence to attendance and punctuality policies
  • legal eligibility to work in the country

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bartending or beverage service experience preferred
  • knowledge of standard drink recipes and portion control
  • familiarity with point of sale systems
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
  • understanding of state and federal regulations for alcohol service

Job Duties

  • Maintain proper and adequate setup of the bar daily
  • requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily needs
  • maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes and perishables to ensure quality
  • greet guests courteously and document drink orders
  • mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
  • abide by all state, federal, and corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
  • input orders into point of sale register and create checks for accountability
  • receive cash, make change, verify charges, record transactions, and ensure vouchers are executed properly
  • lock up and store all beverage, food, and equipment items securely
  • comply with attendance rules and maintain regular work availability
  • perform any other assigned job duties
