Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 18 years of age
- ability to stand for extended periods
- availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
- adherence to attendance and punctuality policies
- legal eligibility to work in the country
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending or beverage service experience preferred
- knowledge of standard drink recipes and portion control
- familiarity with point of sale systems
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
- understanding of state and federal regulations for alcohol service
Job Duties
- Maintain proper and adequate setup of the bar daily
- requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily needs
- maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes and perishables to ensure quality
- greet guests courteously and document drink orders
- mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
- abide by all state, federal, and corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
- input orders into point of sale register and create checks for accountability
- receive cash, make change, verify charges, record transactions, and ensure vouchers are executed properly
- lock up and store all beverage, food, and equipment items securely
- comply with attendance rules and maintain regular work availability
- perform any other assigned job duties
