Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • Experience leading a culinary team in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Demonstrated creativity and passion for cooking
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an executive chef or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of French and American culinary techniques
  • Ability to create innovative and seasonal menus
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations and cost control
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Effective communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Develop seasonal menu items that reflect French-inspired American cuisine
  • Lead and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of organization and professionalism
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring quality control and food safety
  • Collaborate with management on budgeting and inventory management
  • Inspire team members to achieve excellence and foster a positive work environment
  • Ensure consistent food presentation and taste according to established recipes
  • Monitor kitchen hygiene and compliance with health regulations
