Fearless Restaurants is a respected and dynamic restaurant group that operates a diverse collection of 10 independent dining establishments across Philadelphia, PA and Long Beach Island, NJ. Known for its commitment to talent, teamwork, and creating a respectful and supportive workplace culture, Fearless Restaurants has developed a reputation as a leader in the foodservice industry with an ambitious growth strategy. This group prides itself on fostering a loyal and motivated workforce while emphasizing creativity and strong leadership, positioning itself as a premier employer within the hospitality sector.

Louie Louie stands out within the Fearless Restaurant family as an esteemed French-inspired American bistro located in the vibrant neighborhood of University City in Philadelphia. Celebrated for its stunning aesthetic—an artful blend of art nouveau and a seventies vibe that renders modern decor combined with the timeless ambiance of a grand European cafe—Louie Louie has been recognized by "Eater" as one of the most beautiful restaurants in America. The restaurant’s menu offers an inventive take on French classical cuisine, emphasizing seasonal ingredients and modern presentations that delight diners. The experience is further enhanced by a carefully curated selection of specialty cocktails, craft beers, and an expertly paired wine list. Louie Louie’s Salon features luxurious seating areas perfect for socializing and cocktail gatherings, while the outdoor dining area evokes the charm of a traditional French cafe, ideal for casual dining and people watching.

The Executive Chef role at Louie Louie is a critical leadership position within Fearless Restaurants, designed for a proactive, professional, and creative culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This individual will hold significant responsibility for the development and execution of seasonal menu changes, ensuring that dishes maintain the high standards of quality, creativity, and consistency that define the restaurant. The successful candidate will be a natural mentor and motivator, inspiring the kitchen team to uphold organization, professionalism, and attention to detail in all aspects of their performance.

This position demands a commitment to continuous growth and excellence, with an emphasis on fostering a positive work environment where team members are encouraged to develop their skills and aspire to higher levels of culinary artistry. The Executive Chef will play an integral role in maintaining the vibrant, passionate culture that Fearless Restaurants is known for and will be pivotal in driving the restaurant's success forward.

Employment Type and Compensation: The Executive Chef position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, with the opportunity to earn an additional bonus of up to $15,000 per year. This role offers a set schedule with two consecutive days off weekly, supporting work-life balance and employee well-being. Benefits include premium PPO health and dental insurance, short-term disability and accident insurance options, and a comprehensive 401(k) plan administered via Vanguard. Employees also enjoy access to a discounted gym membership, dining benefits at all Fearless Restaurant locations, an employee health savings account (HSA), and parental leave benefits for those who meet the employment criteria. Paid time off accrues progressively, beginning at 15 days annually in years one through five, increasing to 20 days thereafter.

Joining Louie Louie as an Executive Chef means becoming part of a visionary team that values creativity, skill, and leadership in crafting exceptional dining experiences. This role is ideal for culinary professionals seeking to advance their career in a nurturing yet ambitious restaurant group dedicated to excellence in hospitality and gastronomy.
