With a commitment to providing first-class service, Camping World has grown to become a trusted and respected name in the RV market, supporting a community of campers, adventurers, and families who enjoy exploring the outdoors.
As part of its ongoing growth and dedication to excellent customer service, Camping World is seeking a Lot Porter to join its dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of the RV lot, contributing to the overall customer experience. The Lot Porter will provide vital driving and support services, ensuring that RV units are parked, moved, and maintained in a neat, professional manner. This position requires a hands-on individual who is comfortable operating yard tractors, forklifts, and RVs, as well as performing light repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
The Lot Porter will be responsible for managing various aspects of lot upkeep, including cleaning, inventory management, and ensuring that all units meet company standards for presentation and safety. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be experienced in towing and operating RV components such as slide-outs and generators, with a focus on maintaining a safe and welcoming space for customers and staff alike.
Employment with Camping World offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.27 to $27.27, depending on experience and qualifications. The company also provides a robust benefits package for full-time employees, including paid time off, 401(k) plans, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, an employee assistance program, Good Sam Roadside Assistance, and tuition reimbursement for eligible associates. Part-time employees have access to dental and vision coverage. These benefits highlight Camping World's commitment to its workforce's well-being and professional growth.
In this Lot Porter role, individuals will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a supportive environment focused on quality service and continuous improvement. The role offers on-the-job training to ensure that all team members are fully equipped to meet the demands of the job and contribute to the company's mission. Camping World values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer, committed to fostering an inclusive workplace free from discrimination.
If you are passionate about the RV industry, enjoy the outdoors, and possess the skills required to maintain and manage an active RV lot, the Lot Porter position at Camping World is an excellent opportunity to join a respected industry leader. This role blends physical activity with technical skills and offers a chance to be part of a vibrant community dedicated to enhancing the camping experience for customers nationwide.
