Daily duties include inspecting the lot for any hazards, filling holes, straightening inventory, and cleaning trash to ensure a safe and welcoming lot for customers. The Porter also ensures that all used vehicles are properly tagged with Butler Stickers, Drive Out Tags, and "As Is" stickers to meet dealership standards. This includes removing any previous dealer markings to maintain a professional appearance.

Attention to detail is critical in this position since the Porter is responsible for cleaning both the interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing fluids, and replacing batteries as needed. Furthermore, the Porter works closely with the parts department to confirm that all new cars have floor mats and the appropriate addendum stickers before delivery. The nightly routine task requires the Porter to clean and organize the workspace, secure all keys in the key track system, and complete the lot cleanup to prepare it for the next business day. Additional duties involve maintaining neatness of the vehicle lots, cleaning sidewalks and driveways, and performing any other tasks as assigned by management.
