The company focuses on providing a complete camping and RV lifestyle experience, offering everything from sales and servicing of RVs to accessories and roadside assistance. Their core values emphasize customer satisfaction, safety, and community involvement, establishing Camping World as a trusted brand in the recreational vehicle industry.
Camping World is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Lot Porter to join their expanding team. This includes a variety of duties such as parking RV units, performing lot washes, and maintaining accurate records of vehicle conditions and inventory. The position involves physical work like sweeping, trash collection, and assisting with vehicle prep to uphold a professional and inviting environment.
The Lot Porter plays a vital support role, partnering with the sales and service teams to ensure vehicles are ready for customer viewing and delivery. The role requires a keen eye for detail, capability to operate specialized equipment like yard tractors and forklifts, and a proactive approach to identifying and reporting maintenance issues. Safety is a priority, and the Lot Porter must maintain a secure environment for both customers and coworkers. This position offers part-time and full-time employment options, with competitive hourly pay ranging from $14.27 to $27.27, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Working at Camping World presents a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that shares a passion for RVs and the outdoor lifestyle. The company invests in its employees by providing a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k), employee assistance programs, tuition reimbursement for eligible employees, and paid parental leave. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy a hands-on job with physical activity and have a genuine interest in recreational vehicles and customer service. Camping World supports career growth through on-the-job training and values diversity, equity, and inclusion in its workforce, ensuring a welcoming workplace for all.
If you are looking for a rewarding position where your efforts directly contribute to a positive customer experience and the overall success of a leading RV retailer, the Lot Porter role at Camping World could be the perfect fit.
