The Lot Porter supports the first-class service team by ensuring that all units are clean, secure, and ready for customer viewing and use. Duties include managing lot cleanliness, handling inventory, assisting with minor repairs, and operating various equipment such as forklifts and yard tractors.
This full-time role offers competitive pay with an hourly wage ranging from $15.02 to $28.71, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, Camping World provides a robust benefits package including paid time off, 401(k) plans, medical, dental, and vision insurance, an employee assistance program, tuition reimbursement for qualifying candidates, and other employee discounts. Familiarity with using generators, slide-outs, and the ability to identify and perform basic repairs on RV units is highly valued. A valid driver’s license is mandatory, along with the capacity to handle physical activities including standing, stooping, and exposure to environmental elements like heat, cold, and noise.
At Camping World, inclusion and diversity are core values, and the company is committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, gender, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected class.
