Camping World is a leading retailer specializing in recreational vehicles (RVs), outdoor gear, and accessories, serving customers who enjoy camping, traveling, and outdoor lifestyle activities. Founded with a mission to provide top-tier products and services to outdoor enthusiasts, Camping World has grown to become a trusted name in the RV industry, offering everything from sales and financing to maintenance and roadside assistance. Known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Camping World operates numerous stores across the country, featuring an extensive inventory of RVs and outdoor products to meet the diverse needs of its customers.

Camping World is currently seeking a Lot Porter to join their growing team, working as part of a first-class service team dedicated to maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing lot. The Lot Porter plays a vital role in the smooth operation of the dealership by ensuring that RV units are properly parked, maintained, and presented for customers. This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.02 to $28.71, depending on experience, skill set, and other factors. The role includes responsibilities such as moving and parking RVs, maintaining lot cleanliness, handling inventory tasks, and performing minor repairs to ensure that all units are in excellent condition and ready for sale or display.

In this role, the Lot Porter will be expected to operate yard tractors, forklifts, and RVs themselves, making driving skills and experience with these vehicles essential. Additional responsibilities include managing window price installations, writing work orders, securing units from adverse weather, and keeping the work environment safe and clean for both coworkers and customers. The position requires physical stamina as it involves prolonged standing, stooping, bending, and occasional lifting. The company values safety, professionalism, and efficiency in all operations.

Camping World’s compensation package is competitive and designed to attract and retain quality associates. Beyond the hourly wage, employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, 401(k) plans, employee assistance programs, tuition reimbursement, and paid parental leave (subject to eligibility). Full-time associates can access medical, dental, and vision insurance, while part-time associates have access to dental and vision coverage. Camping World is committed to fostering an inclusive and non-discriminatory workplace, welcoming applicants from diverse backgrounds and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws related to employee rights and protections.

Overall, the Lot Porter role at Camping World offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the recreational vehicle industry who possess mechanical aptitude, driving skills, and a strong work ethic.
