Job Description

Easterns Automotive Group, recognized as a Washington Post Best Place to Work from 2018 to 2021 and honored as Dealer Rater Dealer of the Year for six consecutive years, is a leading automotive dealership group dedicated to providing excellent customer service and superior automotive products. The company prides itself on its commitment to employee satisfaction, operational excellence, and a customer-first philosophy that has consistently earned it prestigious accolades in the automotive industry. With a robust presence across multiple states, Easterns Automotive Group has established itself as a trusted name for vehicle sales and service, offering a wide range of new and used cars, flexible financing options, and comprehensive after-sales support to its diverse clientele.

The role available is for a Vehicle Lot Attendant, a crucial position within the Easterns Automotive Group team responsible for ensuring the seamless movement, maintenance, and presentation of vehicles on dealership properties. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles across multiple locations. The Vehicle Lot Attendant will be instrumental in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and operational readiness of the dealership's vehicle inventory. Duties include transporting used vehicles between dealership locations, organizing and maintaining lot displays according to company standards, assisting with customer vehicle deliveries, and ensuring all vehicles on the lot and showroom are clean and in excellent repair. The role also involves hands-on involvement in weather-related clean-up and routine building and grounds maintenance, signifying a broad and dynamic scope of responsibilities.

This full-time position requires flexibility and commitment, with a standard 40-hour workweek that includes both weekdays and weekends. It calls for a proactive team member who can operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively and communicate any discrepancies found during vehicle inspections to management promptly. Essential to success in this role is the ability to drive within surrounding states, highlighting the requirement for reliable transportation skills and a valid driver’s license. Easterns Automotive Group offers a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with company matching, underscoring the company's investment in the health and financial well-being of its employees.

This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the automotive industry who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Applicants who demonstrate a strong driving proficiency, mechanical aptitude, and an eagerness to maintain high standards of vehicle presentation will find a rewarding career with Easterns Automotive Group, benefiting from a supportive workplace culture and industry-leading recognition.
