This role is for a full-time Lot Porter to join the indiGO Porsche team in St. Louis. The Lot Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and organization of the dealership’s new and used vehicle inventory. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task efficiently in a team setting. Key responsibilities include organizing inventory, executing daily touch-ups and detail work on frontline vehicles, coordinating with technicians on reconditioning and detailing processes, and ensuring vehicles are driven and handled with care and responsibility. Additionally, the Lot Porter is often the first point of contact for customers arriving at the dealership, requiring professionalism and a positive attitude to create a welcoming environment.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to work full-time
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to comply with company policies including drug testing and background checks

Job Duties

  • Organize the new and used inventory daily
  • Daily touch up/detail frontline inventory
  • Communicate directly with technicians to plan/organize the reconditioning/detail process
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks related to the new and used inventory
  • Greet customers and make them feel at ease
  • Retrieve cars from the back lot and offsite lot
  • Drive dealership vehicles with great care and responsibility
