Job Description

Camping World is a leading retailer in the recreational vehicle (RV) industry, specializing in providing premium products and services for outdoor enthusiasts across the United States. With a robust network of dealerships, Camping World focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences, offering a wide array of RV products including motorhomes, trailers, and camping gear. Their reputation is built on top-notch customer service, comprehensive product knowledge, and a strong commitment to supporting individuals and families who embrace the outdoor lifestyle. As a company, Camping World values diversity, innovation, and teamwork, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and employee satisfaction.

Camping World is currently seeking a Lot Porter to join their growing team. This role is crucial for maintaining the appearance and organization of the dealership’s lot, ensuring that RV units are parked, moved, and presented in a professional manner. The Lot Porter will provide essential support services including operating yard tractors and forklifts, managing lot cleanliness, and assisting with inventory control. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an outdoor, fast-paced environment and takes pride in contributing to a seamless customer experience by keeping the dealership lot safe, tidy, and operational.

As a Lot Porter, your responsibilities will extend beyond basic lot maintenance. You will be expected to ensure that window prices on recreational vehicles are displayed appropriately and removed as required. Your role includes regular lot washes, sweeping, trash removal, and securing equipment and RV units from weather conditions. In addition, you will assist with the operational readiness of units by ensuring slide-outs, jacks, steps, awnings, and doors are in the correct position. This position requires keen attention to detail, the ability to write work orders, track unit issues, and perform small repairs to keep the stock in excellent condition.

The company offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $15.02 to $28.71. Full-time employees benefit from a comprehensive package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, 401(k) matching, an Employee Assistance Program, and additional perks like Good Sam Roadside Assistance and tuition reimbursement for qualifying employees. Part-time associates have access to dental and vision benefits. Camping World promotes an inclusive workplace and is an equal employment opportunity employer committed to diversity and non-discrimination. Joining Camping World means becoming part of a team dedicated to delivering quality products and services while supporting the outdoor recreation community.
