The role primarily involves maintaining the dealership’s vehicle inventory both visually and functionally and ensuring a high standard of presentation. Responsibilities include cleaning both the interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing fluids, replacing vehicle batteries when necessary, and placing buyer guides and stock tags on vehicles. Additionally, the position requires moving cars according to dealership display standards, driving vehicles between different locations such as service lanes and parking lots, and managing vehicle key tags and inventory effectively.

Candidates will be expected to start vehicles daily and promptly report any problems or concerns that arise. A key component of the role is ensuring that all serviced vehicles are thoroughly washed before being returned to customers, which directly influences the overall customer experience and satisfaction. This position requires a high level of professionalism, a positive and proactive attitude, and a willingness to take on additional duties as assigned. Flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work some weekends, is also essential.
